Jo Anne Bettenhausen is a graduate of the University of Nebraska Lincoln and a former preschool teacher. She’s a speaker for Stonecroft Ministries and the Organ Donor Program. For many years she counseled mothers who grieved the loss of a child.
Jo Anne says, “After Brian’s accident, God led me to teach a Bible class to my son’s friends to help them cope with their loss. I then felt led to write a book on those teachings. The dream of this book took shape over many years. I hope it helps you and your loved ones.”
It's hard enough for adults to come to grips with their own mortality. It's even harder to explain to a child what happens when someone dies. Hopefully, this book will help children understand what is meant by spiritual life after death. I further hope this book will open the door to discussing a very difficult topic.
